All these girls have undergone a surgery to remove parts of the intestine and got Ileostamy bags to remove waste out of the body as their internal body parts is not functioning properly.
So the Organizer Samantha Cawley want to proves that these bags cannot stop the girls from being beautiful.
And according to Sam, 28. “It is an encouraging thing because there are some womens out there who can’t get naked in front of their partner as the are self conscious, hopefully, this calendar may encourage them.”
Sam, who is the face of August in the calendar, went to the doctor with two symptoms and was diagnosed after a number of tests. She undergone a surgery back in 2014 to remove some bowel, and she was warned that she may come out with a bad on her stomach, but operation was successful. Just after three days she rushed back to hospital because her bowel bursted and doctors forcefully fit a bag.
This calendar for which the girls are posing, is collecting funds for the charity ‘Purple Wings’ which support the people suffered from bowel disease.
